Dothan Alabama Personal Injury and Accident Lawyer Aaron Gartlan of the Gartlan Injury Law settled a claim without filing a lawsuit with Mercury Insurance Company on behalf a good hard working Alabama man that was injured in a car wreck in Florida. A friend and former client of Aaron Gartlan and the Law Firm recommended Aaron Gartlan and the Law Firm. The friend and former client wanted to make sure his brother was treated fairly.
As a direct cause of the other driver’s negligence, the Alabama man sustained bodily injury. The impact of the crash deployed the Alabama man’s air bag, which exploded into and bruised his face. This all shook him up considerably, and he was extremely worried about his friend that was his passenger. He was transported on a back board and stretcher with a neck collar by ambulance immediately from the scene of the accident to the emergency room at the local hospital where x-rays were taken and an arm/wrist splint and pain medication prescribed. He wore the splint for two weeks. He presented himself at the E.R. with left hand and wrist pain. He also experienced bruising around the shoulder and chest area as a result of the seat belt. He was diagnosed with a sprain.
He was forced to miss one work week due to the pain discomfort and inconvenience associated with this crash. During this time he was sore and experienced pain all over, particularly in the back, chest, left wrist and thumb. Further, he was placed on light duty for an additional work week. It was at least a month before he regained normal use of his left hand. He also experienced fear of another wreck while traveling in a motor vehicle. He had never experienced this type of injury in the past.
Aaron Gartlan and the Law Firm were extremely honored that his friend and former client had the faith and trust to recommend that his brother consult with him and the Law Firm. It was very gratifying to take the case and reach a successful settlement without filing a lawsuit.
Many of Aaron Gartlan’s cases are established based on the recommendation of family, friends, former clients and other lawyers. David and Aaron are grateful to have built their practice based on those relationships, trust, dedication and hard work.
