Alabama personal injury and accident lawyer David Hogg of the Gartlan Injury Law is scheduled to participate in the Second Annual Youth Career Summit at the Dothan Civic Center on Friday January 31, 2014.
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System in partnership with the Dothan City Schools and Technology Center, as well as the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce will conduct the Second Annual Youth Career Summit. The purpose of the Youth Career Summit is to educate over seven hundred eighth graders about employment and career opportunities available in the Wiregrass Region. The Youth Career Summit also enhances the “Career Cruising” Academic Curriculum Guidelines set by the State Department of Education. The Alabama Department of Education of Workforce Development supports career development programs to begin in earlier school age students to help them prepare for Alabama‘s Workforce.
Approximately, eighty professionals in the Wiregrass Region have been invited to come and share their careers including success stories, educational background, skills required, job satisfaction and information on their company, with the more than seven hundred eight graders enrolled in the Dothan City Schools.
David Hogg and Aaron Gartlan of the Gartlan Injury Law are both graduates of Dothan High School and support, believe in and are committed to the Dothan City School System and public education and are honored to participate in this worthwhile event.
Aaron Gartlan is a graduate of Troy University and the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law who focuses his practice exclusively on representing those injured by the wrongdoing of others. He is member of the National Trial Lawyers Association’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers, Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. In addition to his legal practice, Aaron teaches Business Law as an adjunct instructor at Troy University’s Sorrell College of Business and serves as a field artillery sergeant in the Alabama National Guard.
