Not only will we look at all of the available insurance coverage, we will make sure that we have all of the parties that are responsible to be held liable for the injuries and damages, in an effort to maximize recovery. For example, in a lawsuit that we filed in the Circuit Court of Houston County with a jury demand against a large company, we filed lawsuits against the employer for workers’ compensation benefits. We also filed against this large company for wrongful death related to the inadequate supervision, policies and procedures that either were or were not in place, which would have prevented this tragic death. The case ultimately settled after a successful mediation.
